Photography FAQ

Here are some helpful answers to guide you through booking and enjoying your photography session experience.

Booking & Sessions

  • You can book by using the enquiry form on my website or by emailing me directly. Once I hear from you, we’ll chat through what you’d love from your session and arrange a date that works for you.

  • A small deposit is usually required to secure your booking, with the balance due on or before your session. Full details will always be confirmed when you book.

  • Most sessions take place outdoors in Richmond and the surrounding North Yorkshire areas, but I’m always happy to discuss locations that mean something special to you.

  • If the weather isn’t suitable, we’ll simply reschedule no stress, no pressure.

Session Experience

  • Comfort items, props, or anything you would like included in your photos are welcome.

  • Session times vary depending on the type of shoot but are designed to feel relaxed and unhurried.

  • Yes, you will be able to view and select your preferred images after the session.

Single Portrait Sessions  

  • A Single Portrait Session is a shorter, relaxed shoot designed to capture one clear, beautiful image perfect for creating a special product like a print, canvas, greeting cards or gifts.

  • Yes , your images are safely kept on file, so you can return at any time to create new prints or gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions.

Full Photography Sessions

  • A full session includes a relaxed photo shoot, professional editing, and a selection of images for you to enjoy as digital files and beautiful printed keepsakes.

  • Absolutely. You’ll be able to select your favourites from your gallery once your images are ready.

Print files, storage and future orders

  • Yes, your images are securely stored, so you can come back in the future for reprints, gifts, or new keepsakes whenever you need them.

  • Turnaround times vary depending on the product, but I’ll always give you a clear timescale when you place your order.

  • Images are kept long-term, but I always recommend saving your own copies too, just for peace of mind.
